This handcrafted cherry platter set offers several ways to serve, decorate, and display from one beautifully made piece. The platter measures approximately 9.5 inches in diameter by 1.75 inches tall, giving it a slightly deeper profile than some of my other platter designs. Turned from cherry, it has a warm natural tone and smooth grain that make it useful as both a serving piece and a decorative base.

Included with the platter are three coordinating walnut accessories, chosen for their rich contrast against the cherry. The set includes a walnut taper candlestick insert, a walnut stand for a 4-ounce white ramekin, and a small walnut lighthouse accent. Each accessory gives the platter a different purpose and personality.

Use the ramekin stand for serving dips, nuts, candies, sauces, crackers and spreads, or small snack pairings. Swap in the taper candlestick to turn the platter into a warm centerpiece for a table, mantel, or sideboard. The small lighthouse adds a decorative coastal touch, making the set especially appealing for nautical, lake house, beach house, or summer-themed décor.

At its foundation is a beautiful 15 3/8-inch ambrosia maple platter, turned to showcase the striking natural character that makes ambrosia maple so distinctive. The flowing grain, color variation, and organic markings give the platter warmth and movement, making it a standout piece whether used for serving, decorating, or display.

This is an 8-piece modular set built around interchangeable magnetic components. The set includes the large ambrosia maple platter, a ramekin stand with a light blue distressed-look ceramic ramekin, an auxiliary magnetic base, a taper candle with insert and base, and a decorative lighthouse piece with its own magnetic base. Use the platter with the ramekin stand in the center for serving snacks, dips, nuts, candies, crackers, fruit, or other small pairings. Most of the wood pieces are made from ambrosia maple, giving the set a cohesive natural look.
